Steglich - As
the primary Agricultural
Consultant, Travis is directly involved in all aspects of the farming,
lawn, and garden business. A Certified Crop Advisor, Certified Commercial
Applicator, and Licensed Turf professional, Travis is the one to see
for specific fertilizer, weed control, cultural recommendations, and
insect control on the farm or at home. He is also the man to see for
feed and livestock products as well as pet supplies. A Texas Certified
Aquatic Site Applicator, Travis can consult and control moss, algae,
and weeds in ponds and lakes to improve the appearance as well as the
fishing quality of your water.
Thomas
Steglich - Our
oldest son Tom has come into the business after completing a 15 month
Diesel and Automotive Mechanics program in Houston at Universal Technical
Institute. We are proud and pleased that we have a qualified technician
in our employ to work on our equipment and possibly add another dimension
to the business soon. In any event Tom will be a valuable addition to
the "family" business. Tom is a real "people" person
and is always ready to help any customer make their selection of the
right product for the job.
Tina Steglich
- Tina is the local computer "Guru" and we are lucky
to have her computer knowledge in our business. She has 18 years of
computer "in the field" experience, so she can diagnose computer
problems from a real world perspective that you can't get over the phone
with a "book smart" company tech. Tina is the "brains"
of Steglich Custom
Systems computer construction
and of the upgrade, and consulting business. Tina continues her training
in order to keep up with the newest technologies. Tina keeps our systems
as well as many of the local computers purring along. Tina also works
in the store with customers when time allows.
Todd Steglich
- Todd is a high school Junior, but he is already helping out
as a "computer tech" (in training). He helps assemble systems
and load software on our Steglich Custom Systems.
He is also involved in trouble shooting and upgrading other manufacturer's
systems when they get sick. Todd along with his school studies
he is studing for his A+ certification to make him an even more valuable
member of our SCS team. Todd not
only works on computers, he enjoys working on his 4X4.
Wallace Voight - As a family owned and operated business it is sometimes hard to find new employees that match the "family"
criteria and that know our kind of goals in business. Wallace is all of these things and more! After operating
his own business and farming for 36 years my father-in-law has semi-retired and will be helping at Steglich Feed
& Farm Supply, Inc., when he has time (between fishing trips). With a wealth of experience and a "mellow"
temperament Wallace is just the man to help figure out how to solve your plumbing, hardware, gardening, general
pest or repair problems. Our "mature" customers will find a lot in common with Wallace when shopping
our garden center for plants, seeds, tools, or pest control products.
Moose - While
no longer a baby still has a great personality. She was lucky to be
found by a kind hearted customer who raised her from just a few days
old. We are glad to have her come live at Steglich Feed & Farm Supply,
Inc. as the Official Feed Store Cat!
Rocky - Rocky is well known by many
of our customers. He as been around Steglich Feed & Farm Supply, Inc. for around 13 years. If this dog could
talk he would really have some adventures to tell us all. He has traveled all over the U.S. with his family and
is always ready to return to Bartlett.
Fritz - This is Wallace & Doris Voight's dog. He has
been greeting customers at Voight Chevron for around a year & is trying to adjust to his new surroundings.
Moose is just not sure about Fritz but I bet all will adjust.
